Opportunity to test the (in progress) Gutenberg theme

We’re excited to invite you to test our new Gutenberg (block editor) theme! This is your chance to explore the updated editing experience using a temporary test site.

Your feedback will help us understand how easy it is to navigate, find features, and complete tasks without prior training. Testing is optional, but your input is highly valued and greatly appreciated.

Before you request a test site:

  • Interested users can request a test site now but we won’t be emailing the site URL until Monday, Feb. 10.
    • Please allow us until the end of that day to send you your site URL.
  • The theme is still under development, so some planned features may be incomplete or non-functional.
  • This testing is not designed to train you on using the theme or the WordPress block editor.
  • The purpose of this testing is to evaluate what has been built so far and to provide feedback, not to rebuild your site.
  • The test sites are temporary and will be archived after testing ends.
  • For more details about this process, refer to WiscWeb’s January 2025 Lunch and Learn recording.

Testing process:

  1. Fill out the user testing request form to request a new testing site.
  2. On Feb. 10, you’ll receive an email with:
    • A link to your test site.
    • Instructions for testing and submitting feedback.
    • Additional helpful resources.
  3. Submit feedback before access ends on Feb. 21 at 5:00 PM.

Thanks for being part of this process!
