The Faculty/Staff Members custom post type is baked into the UW Theme. It will allow for the building and display of contact information for campus employees.
Content for this feature is built out like a post and then displayed in-page using the Faculty/Staff Listing page element. Please note that this option is only available in one column layouts.
The following fields are available in Faculty/Staff Member postings:
- First/Last Name
- Credentials
- Headshot
- Phone
- Title
- Address
- LinkedIn Hyperlink
- Biography Text (full WYSIWYG editor)
- Excerpt
Additionally, users can add ‘Extra Fields’ and add ‘Faculty Types’ categories to their postings.
