The Text Block Page Element will be the most used Page Element in the UW Theme for most sites. It provides a simple word processor with minimal features that will allow you to add most written content to your site. In addition to written text, Text Blocks allow you to embed third-party applications with embed code that you can use in your site.
Options available in Text Blocks include:

You can embed third-party content provided they provide embed code. Below, you will see a YouTube video embedded in a Text Block. We offer the Embed Content Page Element for YouTube videos, but you might choose to embed a video in a Text Block if you want to manipulate the size of the video or where it displays on your page.

Every Text Block offers an option to “Apply UW Box Style.” Checking that box will add a light background to your text area and make it look like a more defined block of content. This is a great alternative to the Featured Content Block.
